Take a deep breath

Everybody has those feelings of unaccomplishment and a realisation that maybe you won't be able to achieve your dreams. Maybe you have had this thought recently, I have many of them. Take a deep breath, know that you're not the only one. It's normal.

One of the main causes of this is that we always make excuses. "Oh, i'll do that tomorrow", "It's a bit too short notice, sorry.", "I can never do that!" This applies to many things, big and small. For example, putting off seeing a friend or family member, going somewhere you have never been before or even wanting to learn a language/skill you never had the opportunity to at school/college. Just remember that there is no right or wrong time to start something new, if it's something that you really wish for, take the first step towards it. Whether that is reading up about it, watching videos or even asking your loved ones or people with the relevant information for advice and guidance. You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. As Shia Labeof  said in his video, "JUST DO IT!" < this video is very motivational, but hilarious at the same time.

I know that another major reason as to why we don't fulfil may of our wishes is because we don't have the time, due to our work life taking up a big chunk of our social life. It's important to know that you can't wait for things to happen, you have to make it happen. Taking those first few steps to improve your knowledge or doing something new can really help your mind set, and will encourage you to maybe look a little deeper into it.

I wanted to write this blog post because I have recently been struggling with what I want to accomplish, both in my social life and career wise. I just wanted to let people know that you're not alone and that if you believe in something enough, you can do it, regardless of your occupation, home life, background, gender, age etc. It's one of the most important ways in which we can grow and develop as individuals.

Please feel comfortable to leave any comments with your views about this, I would be very interested to hear them :) Thank you for reading, I'll see you soon with another blogpost!

Life got in the way

Hello everyone!

I have finally come out of hiding and decided it was time to start blogging again! Hurrah!
Firstly, I would just like to say 'Hello *waving hand emoji*' to all of you reading this post, whether you are new or have read any of my past posts. I hope you are all well :)

As many of you will know, sometimes you decide to do something exciting and new (in my case, it this was starting up a blog), but then life gets in the way and stops you. I was unfortunately a victim of this, but I am back and am going to try and give this another shot.

When I started up this blog, Zoe Sugg (Zoella) and Louise Pentland (Sprinkleofglitter) were, and still are, my biggest inspirations. The way they write their posts in such a friendly and comical way really appealed to me as it made me feel happy and like I was reading something that my friend had just written, and also something which I could relate too.

Obviously this blog is nowhere near their blogs as they are Queens of blogging, but I felt inspired to share my thoughts and advice on a whole range of subjects. I like the feeling that I can share my thoughts and opinions, photographs, and read these posts back in years to come and remember what I did and what I was loving at a particular point in my life. It's like a little online diary :)

I'm not going to promise that I'm going to blog all the time, as that didn't work the first time and, like I said, life got in the way. However, I will try and blog as and when I can, and when I have something to blog about!

So, thank you for reading. I know this post isn't very interesting but hopefully the next one will be. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions on what I should blog about, feel free to drop a comment below :)
